Soursop producers in the Costa Rican Caribbean projected the start of harvests in mid-December. Soursop continues to have high-demand products for the local Costa Rican market, making it very limited for exporting. Due to being a highly perishable product, suppliers seeking to position the product abroad opted for frozen soursop puree. The average EXW price is USD 5/kg.
