Côte d'Ivoire cocoa bean price expected to fall during main season in October

In Côte d'Ivoire, the field price of cocoa beans could fall during the 2021/2022 main season which begins next October. According to sources close to the Coffee-Cocoa Council (CCC), the kilogram of beans is expected between 825 and 850 FCFA (EUR 1,26 -1,29) against 1,000 FCFA (EUR 1,52) -price at same time last year. Around 15% to 17.5% price drop is expected.
