In response to the current COVID-19 epidemic, international grain prices and transportation costs have risen. The demand for feed corn before the Lunar New Year has increased, resulting in a rise in domestic corn spot prices. Given the overall situation, the inspection procedures for Indian corn have been simplified from 10 December 10 2020, till the end of February 2022.

Concerning the measure of providing USD 1.8 million of interest-free financing for joint purchases, it will continue to be implemented, and farmers in need are urged to make good use of it.
