Cow milk production increased by 12% in July in Turkey

Collected cow milk quantities have increased in July by 3.1% and exceeded 825 KMT while the quantities for the period Jan-July have increased by 6% compared to the same period last year and exceeded 5.9 million tons. The commercial cow milk collected by producers in July had an average of 3.5% fat and 3.3% protein levels. On the other hand, industrial cow milk production has increased by 12.3% in July compared to the same month last year and reached nearly 112 KMT. Yogurt production has decreased by 2.5% in July and in the period between Jan-July and went down to 104.5 KMT and 638.7 KMT respectively.
