Wheat flour producers in Turkey have been struggling with exports slowing down mainly due to global logistics disruptions and increasing freight rates. Wheat flour suppliers are facing a major drop in domestic demand as well due to schools, hotels, and restaurants being closed in Turkey. The decline in domestic demand for bread and bakery products has demonstrated that about 30-40% of the total bread production is going to waste.
