Demand for orange in the local market has increased

Currently, the demand for orange in the local market has increased to 40% due to the threat of the corona virus in the country. Local consumers believe that the health benefits of the orange fruit would be able to help them combat the virus as confirmed cases continue to increase. However, strict lockdown regulations prevent most suppliers in the Visayas region to timely transport goods, thus affecting quality of the product.
