Data from the National Institute of Statistics (INE) indicates that exports from January to July of this year (U$D 3,757M) registered a reduction of 26% compared to January and July 2019 (U$D 5,081M), mainly due to the reduction in sales of hydrocarbons and minerals. However, some foods had a positive performance in exports, such as beef, which increased by 210.1% compared to January-July 2019, corn by 31.4%, milk by 30%, sugar 15.4%, palm heart 15.1%, coffee 21.1%, sesame seed 54%, chia 52%, quinoa 5.3%, cocoa 5, 5%.
