Low Desiccated Coconut Production in Indonesia as Export Prices Do Not Improve

The low price of fresh coconut has not helped the desiccated coconut manufacturers in Indonesia. The wholesale price of fresh coconut supplied to the desiccated coconut producers is currently 10% lower than the price at the beginning of the year. However, the wholesale export price of low and high-fat desiccated coconut is still low, so producers are holding back production until the export price improves.
