Portuguese Kiwi has a longer shelf life than others

The quality of the Portuguese kiwifruit is remarkable in terms of taste and general nutrition facts but especially its longer shelf life. The very particular climate conditions in the production areas - the region between Douro and Minho in the North of the country - allow the harvest to occur later, November onwards, and transfer to the better durability.
