Difficult competition for Ecuador's pineapple value added products

Pineapple value-added products from Ecuador hardly compete with Asian countries such as Thailand and the Philippines. This happens for 2 main reasons: a. raw material and hand labor are more expensive b. Asian competitors have a better cost-efficient infrastructure.
