In W20, Norway saw a notable 10% week-on-week (WoW) decrease in fresh salmon exports, particularly in the 3 to 6-kilogram (kg) superior salmon category. This decline led to a reduction of 1,081 metric tons (mt) in fish exports. Despite the lower export volume, prices increased slightly by USD 0.16/kg, reaching USD 12.21/kg, a rise of 1.31%. Over the past five weeks, the average export volume has fallen by 21% compared to the same period in 2023.
