Droughts cause decrease in yield by 30% in corn, 27% in sunflower seed in Bulgaria

Prolonged droughts have caused a major decline in the average yield of spring crops of corn and sunflower seed (oil seeds). According to collected stats by the beginning of the current month, there's a decline of 30.5% in corn crops and 27.5% in sunflower seed crops. There are 851.5 KMT of sunflower seed and 263 KMT corn harvested at the current with an average yield of 184 kg/decare and 417 kg/decare respectively.
