Droughts from week 36 to 42 affected south Caribbean Plantain production of Costa Rica

While most of the producers from the Caribbean region struggled with heavy rainfall in previous weeks, plantain suppliers from the South Caribbean region are facing a 6-week drought, which in terms of productivity will represent an increase in production of over 40% from week 30 to 37 of 2022 compared to week 30 to 37 of the year 2021.
