In 2018, Peru imposed a temporary tariff of 10% for all Colombian Rice importation. In W47, the two countries reached an agreement to re-establish the free trade of rice from Colombia to Peru with a 0% of tariff rate. The reason why Peru had imposed the rise on tariffs was an unfulfillment concerning the trade quotas assignment from Colombia.
