The clementine season in Morocco is expected to start in 3 weeks from W38. Producers are asking between USD 0.32-0.37/kg on the tree. The quality is generally good but the production is estimated to be 30% down on average compared to the 2021/22 season. Rotating fruits are better colored after de-greening, and spend less days in the process, lowering the overall production cost. However, for the 2022/23 season it is necessary to add 20% on top of the prices for the packing and post-processing of fruit compared to the 2021/22 season. During the first two weeks of the season exporters are looking for a price between USD 1.00-1.20/kg FOB.
