Cold weather in Ecuador has delayed the harvest of large volumes of both yellow and red-skinned white flesh dragon fruit and granadilla. For W39, the yellow dragon fruit price stands at USD 4.5/kg for DPU, and the CIF price to Vancouver is USD 24 per 2.5 kg box. As for red skin dragon fruit, the DPU price is USD 4.7/kg, and the CIF price to Miami is USD 31.9 per 4.5 kg box. The DPU price for granadilla stands at USD 4.7/kg, and the CIF price to Vancouver is USD 24.5 per 2.5 kg box. There is still an expectation in the forecast for more volumes towards the end of the year, but as cold weather persists, pricing will remain high, and volumes will remain limited for a couple more weeks.
