Egg prices have increased by around USD 1.50-USD 2.00 in recent weeks due to the domestic market's decrease in supply and demand as consumption increases in wintertime. In addition, in the war between Russia and Ukraine, Turkey's two largest grain and feed supplier countries, feed costs increased. This has caused egg prices to rise by USD 2.00-USD 3.00 more. The medium egg, which was USD 27.00 EXW in the past months, has reached USD 31.00 EXW. However, Ukraine's inability to export due to the war enabled Turkish exporters to continue their export despite the rising prices in Turkey.
