Egyptian Producers Facing Difficulties in Finding Spaces in Dubai’s Airport Due to Oversupply and Limited Spaces Available

Finding spaces at Dubai's airport is becoming a nightmare for Egyptian producers, with booking confirmations coming on the same day of shipping at times. The lack of space is caused by two main factors. The first being oversupply from producers trying to find buyers for their products after the EU market crashed. The second is the limited spaces available by the main airlines that provide direct flights (Egyptair, Emirates airlines). While Egypt air has only limited space due to its tight flight schedule to Dubai, Emirates airlines give priority to transit shipments going through Dubai as it charges more for them and brings back higher profits to the company.
