Egypt’s Iceberg Lettuce Export to EU Reduced Due to Lack of Demand

Iceberg lettuce exports are slow in Egypt due to the lack of demand from EU countries, which has forced many Egyptian producers to focus on domestic market instead of exporting. This is because EU countries are currently experiencing high domestic production due to favourable weather, resulting in reduced demand for imported lettuce. However, Egyptian suppliers anticipate that December will be a better month for exports due to weather anomalies in EU countries.
