Egypt’s Eureka Lemon Prices Plummeted 50% MoM in Dec-23 Due to High Stock and Sluggish Demand

In Dec-23, the price of the Eureka Lemon variety in Egypt experienced a decrease due to high stock levels and low export demand across various destinations. Consequently, Eureka lemons price in the local market dropped 50% month-on-month (MoM), from USD 0.68 per kilogram (kg) in Nov-23 to USD 0.39/kg in Dec-23.
