EU has implemented stricter control measures "Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/2246 of 15 December 2021" at border control points on Pesticide Maximum Residual Level (MRL) in Jackfruits from Malaysia. This is reflected by EU’s determination in reducing the risk and potential of pesticide pollution. Thus, stricter compliance to SOP under Global Good Agricultural Practice (Global G.A.P) is expected among Malaysian exporters to EU.
