Export of Turkish Salmon Increased by 72% YoY in January-March 2023

In January-March 2023, 5,626MT of Turkish Salmon were exported, worth USD 45M, mainly to Russia, Germany, and Vietnam. This represents a 72% YoY increase in volume and 77% YoY in value from the 3,262MT of Turkish Salmon exported worth USD 25.5M in the same period in 2022. A total of 3,849MT of Turkish Salmon were exported to Russia for USD 27.26M in Q1 of 2023, an increase from the 1,810MT which earned USD 12.65M in Q1 of 2022. This also represents an increase of 113% YoY in quantity and 115% YoY in value. Germany followed Russia with USD 11.38M and Vietnam with USD 1.63M.
