With the increasing cases of COVID-19 reported and closed boarders in Morocco, the annual recruitment of Moroccan women to travel to southern Spain to harvest strawberries may be problematic this year, which may impact production volume and prices of Spanish strawberries and push towards more demand from Morocco in the EU market.
