Malawi’s First Tobacco Marketing Auction for the 2023 Season Was Conducted on April 12, 2023

Malawi's 2023 marketing season started on a good note on Wednesday, April 12. The opening auction was conducted at the Lilongwe Auction Floors, where 244,586 kg of tobacco were sold at an average price of USD 1.8/kg. The total volume projected for the 2023's marketing season is 125,000MT.
