Florida's Agriculture Commissioner pushed the International Trade Commission to look into Mexican bell pepper imports and the effect it is having on the state's domestic market share. The investigation stems from Florida's domestic market share for fresh and chilled bell peppers having dropped 30.8% due to increased Mexican imports. Bell peppers join a growing list of imported products that the International Trade Commission is investigating including blueberries, strawberries, cucumbers, and squash.
