Food Prices to Increase in the US as Fourth of July Approaches

Meat prices in the US are expected to increase significantly by around 11% YoY as the American Independence Day on July 4th approaches. Consumers can expect grilling items to be the most expensive as meat prices have risen per supply chain disruptions and labor shortages. Hot dogs and ground beef prices have increased by 12% YoY, chicken wing and chicken breast by 36% YoY, chicken drumstick by 12% YoY, and pork by 3% YoY.
