French Consumer Preferences for Avocados

France is Europe's largest avocado consumer, with 160,000 MT consumed annually, followed by Spain, Germany, and the United Kingdom. The French have their own preferences for avocados, with those from Spain being the most preferred, followed by Moroccan avocados. Additionally, Chilean and Peruvian avocados are also more preferred in the French market compared to Colombian avocados because of their better aesthetic appeal when ripened.
