As the availability of fresh Italian potatoes comes to an end, many Italian customers prefer to purchase French potatoes. This is related to the fact that French potatoes are cultivated in territories, where temperature, during the whole year, is lower than in Italy so they can be easier stored in cold rooms as plants are more used to colder temperatures and sustain more this kind of preservation in comparison to Italian potatoes.
