Fresh Cucumber Prices Dropped by 25% MoM in Oct-24 Due to High Production and Low Demand

Egyptian growers expressed dissatisfaction as fresh cucumber prices plummeted by 25% month-on-month (MoM) in Oct-24, dropping to USD 309.28 per ton (EGP 15,000/ton) from USD 412.37/ton (EGP 20,000/ton) in Sep-24. This sharp decline stems from high production levels and low demand within the country.
