France is looking at certified Garlic producers in South America

The garlic season goes from August to December in France. Even if France is one of the top garlic producers in Europe, French importers are already looking to other sourcing alternatives and options for February.

French importer's preference does not go to the number 1 country producer: China because of the huge use of pesticides. The best candidates are located in the southern hemispheric of the globe, Chilean exporters are preferred by the EU importers because of the quality certifications.
