Germany and Russia remain the top export destinations in July for Turkish fresh fruit and vegetables

Turkey's fresh fruit and vegetable exports have increased by 41% in July compared to the same month of the previous year and reached 186 million USD. Turkey's fresh produce exports have in total gone up by 24% in the first 7 months of 2020 and surpassed 1.36 billion USD. Russia was the top export destination with an export volume of 67 million USD, followed by Germany with 45 million USD and Iraq with 14 million USD. About 25 million USD of exports in July to Russia were peaches whereas nearly 65% of the fresh exports to Germany in Jully were sweet cherry.
