Ghana peanut exporters preparing to export in December

There are fewer exports of peanut from Ghana this season 2021/22 because there were more rainy days and high humidity. Although there are some harvests around this period, it is mostly consumed locally instead for export because the high moisture content makes peanuts moldy in storage and transit, thereby reducing export quality. Exporters are rather using the period to prepare and organize for the major export season from December to July.
