Ghanaian farmers and producers urged government to develop deliberate policies

Ghanaian local palm oil crude producers have urged the government to develop deliberate policies to protect and boost the local palm oil sector. The country is currently experiencing some shortages in the local market. Therefore, the producers are advocating for procedures such as soft loans and raising duty on imported palm oil crude to protect the domestic farmers to ensecrue sufficient supply.
