Global grain and commodity prices have shifted from a declining trend to increasing one. Wheat prices in the US have risen by $4 and reached $232 per ton while the price in France has increased by €3 and reached €186 per ton. Russia and Ukraine have maintained their declining position with $199 per ton and $198 per ton respectively. Corn prices increase in the US by $4 and reached $169 per ton while there was no change in Ukraine and France with $185 per ton and €190 per ton respectively. Bulgarian wheat prices currently are reported as follows; €160-165 per ton for bread making and €150-155 per ton for feed grade. As for sunflower seed, the prices for oil grade are around €310 per ton (excl. VAT).
