International Grains Council (IGC) predicts that 14.8 million MT of white wheat to be traded in 2022, which is 9% higher than last year’s total amount. The export figure for Turkey, by far the world’s largest flour exporter, increased slightly to 4.9 million MT, 11% higher than in the 2020/2021 season, and it has been the highest record after the 2019/2019 season. Meanwhile, Turkey accounts for about one-third of the world’s flour exports.
