Government sets price floors for cotton seed for 2020

The Government of Mozambique has set the price of 25MZN (US$ 0.35) per kilogram for the first grade quality cotton, increased from 23.30MZN per kilogram on the previous season; and set the price of 18MZN per kilogram for second grade quality, increased from 17MZN per kilogram. The new policy is set to protect smaller scale farmer.
