According to a report released this week by the Department of Studies and Financial Forecasts and cited by Hespress, citrus production will increase by 29% in Morocco. As for olive production, it will increase by around 14% and that of dates will improve by 4%, reaching a record level.
On the other hand, the report indicates that the expected production of apples will decrease by 14%, due to the hailstorms recorded by the region of Fes-Meknes and the region of Midelt in June, which caused great losses for farmers.
