Greece currently the biggest export market for Pakistani sesame suppliers

There has been an increase of more than 50% in sesame exports to Greece since the start of 2021. Greece is currently the hottest market for sesame seed exports from Pakistan. There are a large number of buyers in Greece sourcing sesame seeds from multiple suppliers each from Pakistan. A major reason for this is that Pakistan and India's sesame seeds are very similar but India's sesame seed is subject to high import tax which is why buyers are more interested in Pakistani sesame seed as its more price competitive for them.
