Green coffee exports from Brazil grows 11.5% in September

According to the Council of Coffee Exporters in Brazil (Cecafé), exports of green, soluble and roasted & ground coffee reached a historical record for the month of 3.8 million bags, an increase of 8.6% when compared to last year. .

Exports of green coffee last month totaled 3.51 million bags, an increase of 11.5% compared to September 2019.

Arabica coffee totaled 2.838 million bags exported, an increase of 1.4% in the annual comparison. Café Robusta reached 672,465 thousand bags, an increase of 93.8% compared to September 2019.

The main destinations for coffee, and Brazilian, were the United States, Germany, Belgium and Italy, with 5.6 million, 5.1 million, 2.4 million and 2.3 million bags, respectively.
