Growing demand of the date outside of Ramadan period in Indonesia

The demand for the date fruit continues growing, even outside of the month of Ramadan, in Indonesia. The date fruit is a favorite fruit for the Muslim people during the month of Ramadan. The sales reach the peak during the month, while was not widely available on the store in other months. But in recent years, the importer has received inquiries even outside of the Ramadan period. Although the amount is still much smaller compared to the Ramadan period but the trend is growing. Date fruit in Indonesia is imported from Egypt, Tunisia, Iran, UAE dan the US.
