Guatemalan Banana Inventory Update in June 2022

Banana export volumes in Guatemala have dropped due to a reduction in inventories. Under normal conditions, the banana bush reproduces to bear fruit from May. However, due to weather anomalies, the bush have not reproduced until June 2022, which influenced the export volumes due to the low availability. The production levels will remain low until WK 33 and will begin to recover from WK 45-50.
