Guatemalan tomato wholesale prices increased by 30% during April compared to last month

During April 2022, the tomato wholesale price was $ 0.38/pound, an increase of 30% compared to $ 0.29/pound in March 2022. The main reason for the price increase was the shortage of volume in wholesale markets, mainly in La Terminal and Central de Mayoreo.
