Health Control and Sanctioning Capacities where share among Peruvian and Colombian Technicians

In order to improve capacities in health control and sanctions, Peru through the National Fisheries Health Agency (Sanipes) of the Ministry of Production, exchanged experiences with the National Institute of Drug and Food Surveillance (INVIMA) of Colombia.

Through videoconferences, about two hundred Peruvian and Colombian technicians addressed issues of health sanctions, typology of sanctions applied as a result of the audit and its implementation.

They also shared knowledge regarding traceability in the production chain and the development of the IVC-SOA Model, which proposes risk-based inspection, monitoring and control.
