High hot wind damages Ecuadorian banana greenhouses

Banana farmers in Ouled Taima and Taroudant suffer a huge loss due to the high hot east wind that hit the wood-framed greenhouses in the area. The windstorm caused damage to the sturdy wood greenhouses, disruption of electricity lines, and permanent damage to banana plant pups that are supposed to yield for the next season.
