High Prices of Chilean Sugar Plum in the Guangzhou Market in W6

The Chilean sugar plum season started on W5 with some air shipment arrival and high prices in the Guangzhou market. On February 8, 2023, the selling prices for sugar plums with good taste and color quality ranged from USD 73.70-76.65/5kg carton (RMB 500-520/5kg carton), while the prices for fruits with a sour taste and average color quality ranged from USD 58.96-63.38/5kg carton (RMB 400-430/5kg carton). Due to the higher prices for good fruits, more consumers still prefer to purchase lower-quality fruits at lower prices.
