Caviar sales are generally concentrated around the Christmas period in Spain. According to one of the main caviar producers in Spain, between 60% and 70% of annual sales will occur before February 2022.
During this period, many producers not only are making contact with fine food wholesalers and chefs but also with royal families, politicians and VIPS. Securing one of these quality consumers surely helps to sell such luxury products, while hard discount retailers are set to launch their special end-of-year offer, with the intent of reaching out to a wider public.
