Surplus Green Plantain Yields Market Drop in Northern Colombia

Green plantain farmers in the Cordoba department of Colombia experienced increased sales in the northern region of the country. In Cartagena, wholesale prices decreased by 13% compared to the previous week, reaching USD 0.47 per kilogram (kg). Similarly, in Valledupar, prices dropped to USD 0.60/kg, representing a 4% WoW reduction.
