The expectations towards the next campaign are that prices will not budge from where they are now. Any changes will, most likely, be more significant. But producers are still worried as production costs will be much higher than before. Still, the trend will continue to be positive as the world stocks will not be at their full capacity.
China’s restrictions, United States’ demand, and Brazil’s limitations on what comes to production are what should keep those prices. For 2022 Portugal's government aid to production should also keep Portuguese numbers at the same level, around 710,000 MT.
