According to the Hungarian Mineral Water Association, Hungary is one of the richest sources of mineral water in Europe. There are more than 500 deep wells with mineral water along with several springs. This makes the country with its 93,030 square kilometres (35,920 sq mi) the Silicon Valley of the Carpathian Basin. At the moment. mineral water is bottled from only tenth of the sources in the country.
