Impact of political constraints between India and Pakistan on bilateral trade

India is the biggest importer of dried dates from Pakistan importing around 90% of the dried dates produced in the country. Recently, due to trade sanctions imposed by both the countries on each other, trade activities through the border between India and Pakistan have been halted.
